Immediate actions
If Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is observed on campus:
- Call 蹤獲扦 Police Department (蹤獲扦PD) immediately at 217-786-2278
- Provide location and any pertinent details
- 蹤獲扦PD will:
- Respond in person at the main campus or by phone at outreach centers
- Notify the Vice President of Administrative Services
- Contact college legal counsel if needed
- Make notification to any and all students or staff members who are being sought by Federal Immigration Authorities.
If contacted or approached by an ICE official
- Remain calm and professional
- Inform them 蹤獲扦PD is your point of contact.
- Immediately call 蹤獲扦PD and give your location
- Ask the agents to wait for 蹤獲扦PD
Do NOT:
- Consent to anything
- Accept any paperwork
- If shown a warrant or subpoena, say:
I am not authorized by the college to grant access to non-public areas or provide any information. Please wait here for 蹤獲扦PD so they can assist you. - For Outreach Centers, Medical District, off-site locations 蹤獲扦PD will contact via phone

- Restricted/Non-Public areas (Examples: private offices, classrooms, maintenance areas, storage rooms):
